Andy Fraser joined Finning in 1979 and has held various senior sales and management positions. He has served as General Manager, Used Equipment; Vice President, Redistribution with Finning International Inc.; Vice President, Sales and Marketing, and most recently Group Vice President of Finning (Canada).
Mr. Fraser holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters in Business Administration from Royal Roads University.
Mr Fraser joined Finning Group (UK) in November 2006 as Managing Director, Finning Group (UK) with overall responsibility for the four lines of business in the UK, Hewden, Heavy Construction, General Construction and Power Systems.
Brian Sherlock was appointed Managing Director of Hewden Stuart plc in May 2005 having previously been Director of Operations. Prior to this he was Managing Director, Hewden Hire Centres, between May 2002 and November 2004.
Before joining Finning, Brian was Managing Director of a US Corporation with responsibility for its UK Company reorganisation. Also as Geschaftsführer, he established the European Operations from a base in Germany.
Prior to this, Mr. Sherlock had a varied career with Marks & Spencer plc spanning sixteen years in roles such as Regional/Store Operations, Information Technology Y2K Project Management, Supply Chain/Procurement, Manager of Group Internal Audit, and Strategic Planning.
Doug is presently Finance Director for Finning Group (UK) and has been with the Finning organisation since 1980. Throughout his career with Finning, Doug has held executive positions in a diverse range of areas within the Company including finance, sales and operations. As a Chartered Accountant, Doug began his career on the finance side of the business, serving as Finning Canada's Controller before moving over to operations in the early 1990s.
As Caterpillar's largest dealership worldwide, Finning has operations in Western Canada, South America and the UK, with Finning International being located in Vancouver BC. Over the past several years Doug held the positions of VP Operations Finning Canada, VP Customer Support Services Finning Chile S.A., Executive VP Customer Support Services Finning International and since December 2004, Executive Director Support Services Finning Group (UK). His business experiences both nationally and internationally, have provided Doug with a unique perspective on the industry in which Finning operates.
Mike is HR Director for Finning Group (UK). Formerly Head of HR for Hewden, Mike joined Finning in 2000 as HR Manager for Finning (UK) and undertook a succession of senior HR roles covering all the Finning group companies in the UK.
Prior to joining Finning, Mike had worked as an HR consultant specialising in organisational development and employee relations and has held senior HR roles in both manufacturing and the health care sectors. Mike holds professional qualifications in Human Resources and Law.
Bob Netherway has been the Finance Director for Hewden since April '06, responsible for the Finance Division incorporating all aspects of Finance and Property.
Prior to this, he worked for Finning (UK) for 20 years latterly as Finance Director. Bob has also worked within the Forklift industry and started his accounting career with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse).
Colin Hotchkiss is accountable for the strategic leadership and growth of product support across Finning Group (UK). He has direct responsibility for the dealerships central parts and logistics department.
Colin also has overall Executive responsibility for BP&S across the UK group incorporating the Project Management Office (PMO) and Six Sigma function.
Colin joined Hewden as Programme Office Manager in 2004 and then assumed the role of Head of Business Process and Systems for Hewden and successfully led the implementation of the recent business change project, Horizon, throughout the Hewden business in 2007.
Prior to joining the business, Colin worked on a number of IT and Supply Chain Improvement projects over a 12 year period, first with Inchcape Marketing Services in the Middle East and then as a Management Consultant for five years where his clients included Nike, Argos, GlaxoSmithKline, The Body Shop, Seton Scholl International, and Musgrave.
Married to Nicola, Colin has with two young daughters, aged 3 and 1 and will be planning to re-locate to the area within the year.
Jim Gray is the Head of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) for Finning Group (UK). He is responsible for driving a culture of ownership for SHEQ throughout the business.
An Oxford graduate with a BA (Hons) in chemistry, prior to joining Finning, Jim spent 8 years working for the Environment Agency where he was responsible for regulatory policies and for modernising the way the Agency regulates business. Jim also held senior positions with British Nuclear Fuels and has spent the past 28 years working in Health, Safety, Quality and the environment. He is a member of the society for Radiological Protection, a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and is a fellow of the Institute of Physics.
