CPA – Lift
Under the terms of a standard CPA Crane Hire contract, the crane and its operator are hired to the customer who takes full responsibility for the lift. The Customer must provide a fully trained Appointed Person as well as a method statement and risk assessment.

Contract Lift
Hewden provides a full Contract Lifting Service that is fully compliant with BS7121. This service relieves the Customer of the responsibility of preparing the method statement and risk assessment, as well as managing and supervising the lifting operation. Hewden will provide:

Lifting Consultancy Service
For clients requiring a Contract Lift, Hewden can, through the latest CAD technology, provide a full consultancy and design engineering service, providing the most cost effective solution for your lifting project.

Crane Selector
Hewden have obtained under licence, an industry leading software package, that enables, without the aid of radius charts, the correct choice of crane to be made every time. Information available from all Hewden Crane locations.

Training
The importance of correctly trained and certified personnel is critical. Training of both Hewden staff and our Customers is a regular activity at our West Yorkshire Headquarters in Castleford.
