Goods Only Hoists

These range in capacity from 500kg to 2500kg, with platform sizes up to 2m wide and up to 6.2m long.

Passenger and Goods Hoists

Hewden passenger and goods hoists enable the safe and efficient transfer of contractors, together with their tools and materials, to all floors of the construction site.

Driverless Hoists

These hoists are operated by users in a similar way to a permanent lift in a building. The hoist has no dedicated operator/ driver and the controls are both in the cage and at the landings.

Beam Hoists

The 'Beam Hoist' is used in a number of situations on site to provide an independent lifting facility or supplement other lifting facilities such as Goods or Passenger and Goods Hoists.

There are a number of ‘Beam Hoist’ options available with capacities ranging from 500kg to 2000kg. Another, more flexible option, is a slewing beam hoist (see example below). Mounted on a fixed pedestal base, these hoists can provide up to a 6m operating radius, rather than just a static fixed beam arrangement.
