"Business in the Community" is a national not for profit organisation with membership from over 850 companies – Hewden joined in 2011 and we are working closely to develop our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to provide sustainable long term benefits to the communities we operate in.

Crash

"Crash" is a charity that addresses the issues of homelessness by harnessing the skills, products and goodwill of the building industry – Hewden are proud patron supporters of "Crash" where we are able to harness our expertise and resources to positively influence projects and initiatives for the benefit of the charity.

The Place2Be

"The Place2be" is a charity working inside schools to improve the emotional well-being of children, their families and the whole school community. Their vision is to have "a world where children have the opportunity to grow up with prospects rather than problems". Hewden are proud supporters of "The Place2be" and are working closely to develop a support programme that will have a lasting positive impact on the entire social environment of the schools within our communities.

Street League

Street League is the charity which changes lives through football. We provide a unique football and education programme for the most disadvantaged 16 to 25-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). Operating in five UK cities with plans to expand to 12 by the end of 2014, 75% of our Academy graduates go on to get a job or return to education. We have been an official charity partner of The Football Association since 2010 and No 10 Downing Street’s volunteering partner for 2011.
