0 mins - We are underway on this cold day at Edgeley Park. Sale kicking off towards the Printerland Stand

4mins - Good start by Sale with quick hands from Leota enabling Tuculet to have run and kick into touch. Scarlets under pressure in their own 22 but Sale give away a penalty

6mins - More good attacking phase with Buckley having a burrowing run in the middle of the field offloading to Leota who passes to Tuitupou who knocks the ball on.

9 mins - Sale try! First home start for Fourie and he scores a try! Great rolling maul by the forwards and Fourie scores the try. Macleod converts 7-0

10mins - Mr Martin Fox (the referee) has pulled his hamstring! He is replaced by Tim Wigglesworth

16mins - Scarlets awarded penalty and Newton gets the points 7-3

26mins - Scarlets are given another penalty and Newton goes for the posts again and scores. 7-6

28mins - End to end stuff by both sides. Both try to attack but knocks on and charge downs spoil the moves and eventually Sale knock the ball on after trying to attack from deep.

31mins - Scarlets deservedly score a try after dominating play. Edwards scores after the Scarlets expose a overlap. Newton misses the conversion. 7-11

38mins - Sale bite back and attack with some good  drives by the forwards but they knock the ball on

HT Sale Sharks 7 Scarlets 11 - Sale looked good in the opening stages but Scarlets coming back in the later stages. Sharky's Half Time Draw winning ticket is ticket number 3125

40mins - Sale get the game back underway here at Edgeley Park

48mins - Scarlets concede a penalty for not rolling away. Macleod points to the sticks and he drags it to the left of the posts.

51mins - Sale on the attack again trying to get back in the lead, but Scarlets give away a penalty for hands in the ruck. Macleod goes the posts again and this time he scores. 10-11

58mins - As Sale attack, Macleod decides to go for the up and under and gets taken out late, the referee awards a penalty where it lands which is just on the 22. Macleod scores the penalty 13-11

59mins - Sale sub: Willis on for Peel

60mins - Two more subs for Sale with Ward and Amesbury coming on to replace Jones and Tuculet

61mins - Sale get awarded another penalty after Scarlets drag down a maul. Macleod goes for the posts again and he scores 16-11

68mins - Sale give away a penalty for going in the side of the ruck. Newton, infront of the posts, misses!

71mins - Sale give another penalty away for tackling the man in the air in the lineout. Stephen Jones takes over the kicking duties and he scores 16-14

75mins - Scarlets give a silly penalty away for coming in at the side;  Macleod goes to the posts and he scores 19-14

77mins - Sale make a late change with Burrell coming on to replace Tuitupou

FT: Sale Sharks 19 Scarlets 14 - Sale seeing off the Scarlets in a closely fought battle in the LV=Cup to give Sale a great start to a cruical run of games which starts next Friday against Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership kick off at 8. Join us there!
