Hewden upgrades customer training offer

Hewden, the national, multi-product hire specialist, has upgraded its training offer to enable the company to deliver a comprehensive range of industry accredited courses to customers, UK wide.

Upgrades include the launch of an online system allowing customers to easily manage their training administration. The system is designed to reduce the need for cumbersome, paper-based administration and supports the management of personal development and learning plans.

The system is already proving beneficial for event support services company, Showforce, for whom Hewden is the sole supplier for induction, health and safety, working at height, harness awareness and accredited plant and access training.

Other training courses currently offered by Hewden include; Manual Handling, SPA (Passport to safety Live Events), PASMA, NPORS, CPCS Plant, IPAF, Rough Terrain and Telehandling.

System details

Displaying Hewden's real-time course availability, the system allows online bookings to be made. In addition customers can access reports, certificates and a full history of training attendance records, 24/7, which is ideal when providing proof of compliance for large-scale projects.

Dedicated training facilities

Courses can be delivered on the customers' site, or at one of Hewden's training facilities, including a new, purpose-built centre of excellence in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

The company can also conduct a training needs analysis for its customers, from which a bespoke programme can be developed.
