To be a Service Engineer, you should:

• Have, or be working towards, GCSE grades C/D or SCE Standard Grades 3/4 in Maths, English and a Technical subject
• Basic knowledge of physics
• Have good mechanical maintenance skills
• Be able to learn and apply technical knowledge and keep up to date with changing technology
• Have a good methodological approach to problem solving
• Be fully aware and practicing a good understanding of Health and Safety issues
• Be prepared to work both in the workshop and on site
• Be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• Have a desire to become part of a market leading hire company with all the opportunities you would associate with a large international group
