We believe that helping our employees to develop and improve their skills is vital in order for us to utilise our resources effectively, exceed our customers' expectations and stay ahead of the competition.

We provide a wide range of training activities for our employees, including specialist sales training, management development programmes and health, safety and operator training.

Our annual intake of Apprentice Plant Mechanics undertake a highly structured four-year training and development programme. Hewden Apprentices undertake S/NVQ to level III. Click here for more information.

Our Technical staff regularly attend manufacturers product training in order to keep abreast of the most current innovations and techniques available and all are registered within the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. We also provide a wide variety of programmes to internal and external delegates to S/NVQ standard.

Safe Working at Height Training in association with IPAF and PASMA

Hewden can offer IPAF and PASMA training courses at one of our many training centres across the UK, or if you prefer at your place of work (subject to environmental conditions being met). All courses are lead by approved IPAF and PASMA instructors whom are regularly vetted by Training Bodies officials, to ensure that high standards are maintain at all times.
